To use wake on LAN, be sure that the PC’s BIOS supports this functionality.
1. Open the BIOS and enable function Wake Up On LAN
2. Start up Windows OS and go to open Properties of Local Area Connection
3. Press Configure
4. Go to the ‘Advanced’ tab and select Wake up Type – change value to Magic Packet (as per screenshot below)
5. Confirm your changes
6. Shutdown or Hibernate PC
7. Open the Energy Manager and select the PC that was already shutdown
8. Press the link Wake up and the PC should be start working
