Morning all :-)

Thanks for the feedback - seems "OK but not ideal" so far. That's pretty much at the top end of what I expected for Beta1 :-)

Re: recognizing / taking actions using Raw Device commands (i.e. when you don't have a device defined on the corresponding address) - that shouldn't be too difficult to implement - I'll aim to add it and upload beta 1.1 Friday/over the weekend. In the mean time, you can get away with defining a non-existant device on D04 / whatever - that matches the Remote Control address, and use that as a trigger for "real Device" in Harmony Event.

Thanks,

Rob

Sorry Paul, the answer is No, not at present. Once a component is registered wit Harmony, it stays there.

I *could* write a tool to do the job, but I'd have to charge for it (not much, enough to cover my time) - don't know if anyone would be willing to pay for that......thoughts? (I'm not employed full time by Domia/BBSB - I earn my wages by taking on projects such as the Harmony-BBSB component / other things - so doing anything that's not on my official todo list, comes out of my own time/pocket - - such as the backup/restore tool that a few of you use).

In the mean time, the only solution is to create a new configuration file / uninstall and reinstall Harmony and all the Components you want to keep. Painfull if you have a large config, but only costs you the time you spend on it :s

Glad it's working. My fault - should have made the instructions clearer - the app/component needs to be running for Harmony - BBSB Comms to take place.

Hi Paul,

I originally intend to have it as a service - BUT - with having to "reconnect" the controller after an outage, the little gui app seemed a better solution. You can always drop it in your Windows Startup group and have it auto-start that way :)

Any good?

Good stuff :)

Are you getting anywhere with the keyfob issue? As I said, I've tested it and had no problems - I can only guess theat it may be a range / interference issue. would be nice to get to the bottom of it.

Just checking - you have other remotes (not keyfobs) that DO work - correct?

thanks
